from "the job." Special thanks to Dave Castleton

Patric is a recovering Las Vegas high school teacher who gave up a house, a pension, and new Toyota to go live in the South to learn how to become a comic book artist. Two years later, he has worked with Patton Oswalt, Mike Mignola, Joss Whedon, Marc Andreyko, and now Steve Niles as comic book illustrator. He now is an artist with a sofa unit, Medicaid, and a bus pass. He couldn’t be happier.  He currently sleeps on a sofa unit in Portland, Oregon with vintage 1980 Empire Strikes Back sheets. • Hello from all of us at Can’t Stop the Serenity!

First, we wanted to say thank you once again for being an Auction Sponsor last year to Equality Now and the many other charities that benefited from your contribution through Can’t Stop the Serenity. We appreciate your active role in helping us raise money for all of our causes and for your continued support of the Browncoat community at large. The donations were well received.

We would love to have you return to CSTS this 2011 season in support of Equality Now. Please contact me at your earliest convenience.

    Thanks again.

  • Jean Herbold:

We were given your name by Ron Chan. We are looking for an illustrator on a project for a client who is creating a kind of online video game for children.
We saw samples of your work and we think it would be in line with the project we are putting together a bid for. Could you tell us what your hourly rate is?
    Thank you!

Great eating at Burger King with you in LAX. My week is nuts, but next week want to know if you want to join a few of us for a beer somewhere in the city?
