Patric left his former life as a Las Vegas high school teacher with a house, a pension, and new Toyota to go learn how to become a comic book artist. Since 2009, he has worked with Patton Oswalt and Joss Whedon (Serenity: Float Out), Mike Mignola, Christopher Golden, and John Arcudi on several "Mignolaverse" titles (Abe Sapien, Hellboy & the BPRD 1954, and Joe Golem), Marc Andreyko (Let Me In), David Lapham (Exile to Babylon), Steve Niles (The Thing), and Chris Roberson (Aliens) as comic book illustrator, all published by Dark Horse Comics. He has also done extensive concept and character design work as well as illustrated exclusive covers for several comic titles. He now lives in Portland, Oregon with a sofa unit, Medicaid, and a bus pass. He couldn't be happier.
